CONCERT:
The 2024 CODA Concert features live music from American folk singer-songwriter David Wilcox on Saturday, March 23rd.
UPDATE: Due to forecast rain and cold tempratures, the concert will take place in Graham Chapel, located in Gaither Hall which is adjacent to the original outdoor location for this event. Graham Chapel is a beautiful stone structure built in the 1930s using locally harvested stone and features a vaulted American Chestnut ceiling. It's the perfect location for an acoustic concert (if you can't be outside among the mountains).
Doors open at 6:00pm and the concert begins with guest artist Ashes & Arrows at 7:00 pm, Followed by David Wilcox at approximately 7:45pm.
SONGWRITING SEMINAR:
On Friday, March 22nd David Wilcox will present a songwriting seminar as part of the Montreat College Creative Writing Festival. This event is geared toward students but is open to the public. Schedule and tickets are available HERE.
PARKING:
Parking is available on-site at no charge. There will be a short walk from the parking lot to the venue. Disability parking is available adjacent to the chapel.
SEATING:
Limited Reserved Seating (SOLD OUT)
A limited number of premeire stagefront seats are available. Comfortable chairs are provided as part of this option
General Admission Seating:
Comfortable seating inside the chapel.
FOOD:
Light concessions (popcorn, desserts & drinks) will be available in the venue. We will still allow you to bring a picnic, however, you will either need to take a chance on the rain letting up early enough to set up on the lawn outside, or use one of the tables in Fellowship Hall, a space connected to the venue.
FAMILY FRIENDLY:
The CODA events are designed to be family friendly and a welcome place for children. We will have a cry/changing/nursing room adjacent to the chapel.
