ABOUT ABOUT

The Montreat College CODA Music Festival is an outdoor, family-friendly event; this year, we are seeking to shine a light on the Heart of Appalachia by showcasing local artists and storytellers!

Some of our artists include Andrew Finn Magill, a Celtic violinist and his ensemble, John Toineeta, a Cherokee storyteller, and Kaitlyn Baker, a country artist brought to us by our partner Ingles of Black Mountain and Swannanoa. We have also partnered with numerous local businesses to Black Mountain, such as Take a Hike, and the Black Mountain Tire Connection. Discounted tickets are available at the Black Mountain and Swannanoa Ingles!

This is an all-day festival, and so we will have food trucks and shaved ice available all day. Make sure to bring your lawn chairs, some blankets, and sunscreen! In the event of rain, we will move to Gaither Hall on the Montreat College campus, but otherwise—we hope to see you in Black Mountain on April 15th! Doors open at 11 am.
